Welcome (Back) to Bali!

My new home for the next three months

Greeted at the airport by my Bali brother Agus, with flowers, and a big hug with a “Welcome home Sister!”

A fresh coconut waiting and ready to drink at my villa.

Tried to watch a movie but barely made it 15 mins in after unpacking last night.

I sprung out of bed this morning to go for my favorite breakfast in the world, bc it’s so fresh and delicious, (you know i don’t “spring” out of bed for much lol) and greeted with a hug from the surprised manager.

“Where have you been?!” He said. “Can i give you a hug?” (It’s been a year, but goes to show you the affection the Balinese have.)

Then he chased me outside with some free chocolate when I left lol

You know what’s coming next on my agenda…

I am so happy. And it feels so nice to be welcomed back by friends here.

(You U.S. fools better step up your game. No one greets me with chilled coconuts, homemade chocolates and flowers there!)

And how did it get to be Friday already?
