Passion drives me, and I bring a unique perspective to the table, shaped by extensive travel experiences to over 40 countries, and managing global teams. From hiking in Vietnam, navigating the concern of landmines, to collaborating with local cultures in developing countries on leveraging technology to support their economies during the COVID-19 pandemic, I have gained a global outlook. I have also personally experienced the challenges of sending a military spouse to multiple deployments, and serving for the US Federal Government, giving me a deep understanding of Operational Security.

Just like Liam Neeson's famous character in "Taken," I am determined, resourceful, and dedicated to exceeding expectations, and I have cultivated a particular set of skills that I believe can be invaluable in advancing important causes that I am passionate about, with over 20 years of experience in Federal Service, Technology, and Communications.

Throughout my career, I have encountered various challenges and have consistently demonstrated my ability to succeed. While being an active-duty military spouse for 15 years limited my opportunities for full-time education, I have compensated by developing a high level of persistence and adaptability. The current focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives in HR and People discussions recognizes the importance of addressing this and many other such inequities.

I am a certified USIDHR Human Rights Consultant and have volunteered and traveled extensively, living in 40 different countries while working remotely. These experiences have equipped me with the relevant skills to mobilize grassroots efforts in support of progressive ideals. With a high Emotional IQ, empathy, loyalty, dedication to the mission, and knowledge of emerging technologies, I am confident in my ability to make a meaningful impact for your organization.

As a Talent Acquisition and People Expert, I have developed a keen eye for identifying the right person for the job and mobilizing individuals around organizational needs. I have been instrumental in running veteran hiring and diversity hiring initiatives, as well as supporting startups during periods of high growth. Notably, I successfully scaled NetSuite from 400 to over 5,000 employees in four years by implementing a TA Operations layer and serving as Chief of Staff for a global Talent Organization. Additionally, I led the recruitment of 6,600 volunteers across four counties during the 2010 Census in rural upstate NY. I also acted as the point of contact for local media, effectively engaging with the community.
